Meet Dr. Templeton
Dr. Ginger Templeton graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. After graduating, she returned to her home state of North Carolina and has been practicing small animal medicine and surgery ever since.
In 2016, she opened Veterinary Housecalls of Raleigh with the dream of providing customized medical care with minimal stress to her patients and clients.
Dr. Templeton enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, ranging from preventative care to internal medicine, pain management, and dermatology. She also brings a strong background in behavioral medicine to her practice.
By treating your pets in their homes. Dr. Templeton is able to focus solely on their care. This one-on-one approach also allows her to work with you to develop a treatment plan that suits your preferences as a pet owner.
When she isn't caring for cats and dogs, Dr. Templeton stays busy with her family. She and her husband, Matt, have two wonderful children, Lindsay and Michael, a cat named Tonx and dog named Flash. Dr. Templeton is also an avid runner. She has completed 4 marathons and several triathlons.
Dr. Templeton is also passionate about childhood cancer research and patient support. Dr. Templeton is currently fundraising for the The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's through their Team in Training Campaign and looks forward to becoming more involved with the Just TRYAN It Foundation which provides financial support for families facing pediatric cancer. If you are interested in getting involved with Team in Training or Just TRYAN It, don't hesitate to ask!
